Reflecting on the whirlwind of events hosted at Whittlebury Park in 2023, I can't help but feel immense pride in what we've accomplished. This year has been nothing short of spectacular, filled with vibrant gatherings, heart-warming moments, and the harmonious buzz of over 76,000 delegates who graced our estate throughout the year.
We kicked off the year in style with an exclusive Super Hero Themed Gala Dinner, a spectacle hosted in our purpose-built marquee that catered to a lively crowd of 600 enthusiastic attendees. As the seasons shifted, we delved into the summertime festivities with a festival-themed outdoor event, where over 200 guests immersed themselves in the feel-good vibes of the season.
Whittlebury Park really revs its engine during the British Grand Prix, hosting drivers and visitors globally. This July, we oversaw our largest Grand Prix event yet, accommodating 17,000 campers across 5,000 plots. Our hotel, booked out within a month of the new dates' release, housed over 600 residents, while our hospitality catered to 1,000 guests. The Grand Prix embodies our precision and hospitality. As we prepare for the upcoming year, this iconic event remains a highlight, and our teams are ready to get set and goooo the extra mile to elevate the experience, ensuring every guest has the best time.
Our culinary team worked tirelessly, creating 18 bespoke menus that catered to every palate, ensuring each guest's dining experience was nothing less than what they dreamed of. The introduction of the TopTracer experience in our driving range (where you don’t need to be a pro-golfer to get stuck in) has also been a hole-in-one, adding a new layer of entertainment and engagement to our events.
However, the pinnacle of our year arrived in December when we welcomed our largest private party yet, playing host to a staggering 1,060 attendees. The sheer energy and joy that filled the air on that night was palpable, and it's moments like these that reaffirm our commitment to crafting exceptional experiences for our guests.
The resounding feedback of appreciation over the year echoed in our C&E office, with over 500 heartfelt 'Thank You' emails flooding our inbox, resonating with words like 'great,' 'excellent,' and 'helpful.' It's these sentiments that fuel our passion and drive to continually raise the bar.
Looking ahead to 2024
Our focus remains steadfast on client satisfaction. We aim to expand our array of team-building options, offering a selection of 66 engaging activities to further enrich our guests' experiences. Moreover, with the addition of our new spa light salon, delegates can now indulge in 20-minute treatments, providing serene respite after busy event-filled conference days.
Creativity remains a driving force for us in the upcoming year. We aspire to infuse more innovation into our events, introducing new themes and setups that push the boundaries of possibility. At Whittlebury Park, the sky is truly the limit, and our dedicated team is prepared to go above and beyond to bring these visions to life.
