Whittlebury Park is looking to host the 2019 Championship of Northamptonshire in the prestigious William Hunt Trilby Tour in 2019.
This would be the second time Whittlebury has hosted this challenging, televised competition, which is widely considered to be the closest experience to a professional tournament for amateur golfers.
The Trilby Tour, now going into its 12th year, Sky Sports, which will be televising the tour, anticipates an audience of 3.5 million for the regional championships and international final.

The regional championship at Whittlebury will be open to spectators, with many diehard Trilby Tour fans attending every year to witness the ‘winner takes all’ competitive format, which culminates in a 3-hole shootout to decide the champion. The top 10 scorers from each Regional Championship are then invited to the Trilby Tour Final to find the 2019 Trilby Tour Champion.
